Artist's Comments

pretty big piece, about 11.5 x 14.5 that took damn near forever. I wish I could have kept the length.

FACT: proven by three years running, February has been my driest art month, spanning into March. During the first three months of the year I am rendered nearly artless and shaking in a corner, gasping for air and surrounded by crumbs of what I once was. Nothing but tea to keep the life in me until April rolls around and I am thus, you could say, 'reborn' into my art niche. It's fascinating really, something you would see on animal planet.

I'm way too hard on myself, and I'm a sick breed of perfectionist, so there will always be SOMETHING missing, but when I do decide it's complete, it's only after waiting a month and not touching it that I decide so, or until I'm so sick of thinking of 'what if, what COULD I do with it' that I make something up and make myself be done with it. (like I did in this case)
I have no more words for you, byebye.

It's all about the details.

A perfectionist surrealist, eh? Interesting.

I like this a lot.
Usually the more that something creeps me out, the more I like it.
